PW_Tools

PW_Tools is a package to support Project Management via the World Wide Web.
The tools are written in Perl

The package consists of the following parts, that can be used independently:

• PWA: a package to create
  • Profiles for individual project members
  • Profiles for project partners
  • Profiles for groups
  • An overview page over the participating partner
  • A picture gallery
  • Action lists for individual project members
  • Action lists for project partners
  • Action lists for the entire project
  
  
• PWB: a package to create bookmark lists (hotlists)
  
• PWC: a package to remove invalid links (only local links treated) from a web site
  
• PWD: a package to create a document archive and pages to browse the contents
  • ordered by the reference number
  • ordered by document type
  • ordered by authors
  • ordered by document date
  • ordered by any other issue (e.g. meetings, example)
  
  
  
• PWE: a package to create overview pages on publications and presentations
  
• PWR: a package to create the entire Web site root with uniformly headers
  
• PWS: a package to automatically send emails with individual to-do lists to individual project participants
  
• PWU: a package to publish (copy) the web site (or parts of it) to another location

The tools are located in the following directory structure:

• ./PW_Tools/Bin all scripts
• ./PW_Tools/Input all global input files
• ./PW_Tools/PWA the PWA package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
• ./PW_Tools/PWB the PWB package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
• ./PW_Tools/PWC the PWC package uses the same input as the PWU package
• ./PW_Tools/PWD the PWD package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
• ./PW_Tools/PWE the PWE package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
• ./PW_Tools/PWR the PWR package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
• ./PW_Tools/PWS the PWS package uses the same input as the PWA package
• ./PW_Tools/PWU the PWU package (without scripts, documentation and global input files)
